Shilpi Mishra Sharma

Prof. Shilpi Mishra Sharma has a backgound of Population Sciences and Statistics.
She has done her Ph. D. in Population Studies and Masters in Population Studies
from International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai. Her master in statistics
is from Vikram University, Ujjain, M.P.. Before joining at IIHMR she was a consultant
for Centre for Studies in Ethics and Rights (CSER), Mumbai. She has earlier been
associated with CSER as a Programme Officer. She also has an experience of working
as Client Service Executive (Customized Social Research) in ACNielsen ORG MARG,
Mumbai. She has presented/ published several research papers on issues related to
health & social sciences in national/ international conferences/ journals. She
is a receipient of Government of India fellowship during MPS and, junior and senior
research fellowship of the UGC during doctoral work. Her research interests include
human rights issues, education of children, reproductive health and Status of Women
especially among underprivileged section of the society. |

Seema Mehta

Prof. Seema Mehta has obtained Master of Business Administration with marketing specialization and
earned her PhD in Healthcare Marketing from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. She has
more than ten years of teaching experience. Before joining the Institute she was
associated with Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior, where she
worked as senior lecturer. She was the co-ordinator of Marketing Management group
of M.B.A students and was continuously engaged in teaching papers viz Principles
of Management, Marketing Mangement, Advertising and Branding Mnanagement, Service
Marketing, Sales Management, Consumer Behavior, Training and Development and Marketing
Research. She has been extensively involved in various research activities including
supervising summer projects and postgraduate dissertations of MBA final semester
students. She has eighteen publications including four international publications
to her credit. She has also written a book. She has developed cases and presented
research papers in various forums. She has visited Netherlands and Germany under
the group study exchange programme organized by Rotary International.

Tanjul Saxena

Prof. Tanjul Saxena has total 17 years of experience that encapsulates over a decade
of corporate exposure in addition to teaching, training and consultancy in the realm
of management with specific focus on developmental dimension like behaviour modification,
OD intervention and personality grooming. Ph.D. in Management, MBA from Modi Nagar,
an MA in Sociology and M.Com in Business Administration Dr. Tanjul Saxena possesses
a world view of interdisciplinary education. Her vision of intellectual life is
universalistic and integrated, and that is reflected in her prolific writings and
numerous speeches and interventions in academic meets. The keen research aptitude
manifests in social policy research surveys that she has undertaken for certain
reputed clients. Her articles and essays also appear in newspapers, journals, anthologies
and books on Management. She has three anthologies and two books to her credit in
the realm of education and management.

Jagjeet Prasad Singh

Prof. J.P.Singh is a statistician. With an experience of more than 15 years in health
sector, he has gained expertise in conducting health surveys and programme evaluations.
He has been coordinating national and state level large scale surveys of repute,
like National Family Health Survey (NFHS), District Level Household Survey (DLHS)
and Facility survey under RCH programme. He has contributed in several programme
evaluations, including evaluation of NACP, NLEP, etc. He has published several research
papers in reputed journals. He has been teaching statistics in PGDHM programme,
and facilitating management development programmes in statistics and survey research.

Prof. Abhishek Dadhich specializes in Pharmaceutical Management & Regulatory affairs.
He is B. Pharma, M. Pharma from Lachoo Memorial College of Science & technology,
Jodhpur, Rajasthan. After completing M. Pharma, he joined Suresh Gyan Vihar University
as a Lecturer in Pharmacy Department and served there for one year. He also presented
papers on product Sales Training of Drug product Tel sat ( Telmisartan), influence
of Product Patent on Indian Pharmaceutical Market. His areas of interest are Pharmaceutical
Management, Drug regulatory affairs & Quality assurance.

Nand Kishore Sharma

Prof. Namd Kishore Sharma has a background of social science, and an experience of more than two
decades of working in the health sector. Being involved in large and small scale
surveys, he has gained expertise in health survey research and programme evaluations
related to maternal and child health, including MICS. He has coordinated several
research and evaluation studies, including operations research in different parts
of the country. He has contributed to large scale surveys of national and international
repute, including NFHS and DLHS. He has also got international exposure of working
in Afghanistan as a regional coordinator. His areas of interest are reproductive
health, program evaluation and community based health evaluations.

Prof. Narottam Das Sharma has background of Social Science. He has have experience of more
than two decades of working in the health sector. He was in have involved large
scale survey likes National Family Health Survey (NFHS), District Level Household
Survey (DLHS) under RCH programme & Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS). He has
contributed in a collaborative Intervention research Project on Mother and Child
Health care in block level as well as district level. He has also contributed in
several research and evaluation studies like NLEP and Adolescent Friendly Health
Services. (AFHS) and Disease and Nutrition surveillance Project.

Sunita Nigam

Prof. Sunita Nigam has a background of Biometrics and Nutrition with a Computer Science
Diploma. She has an experience of nearly two decades of working in the health sector.
Being involved in all kinds of large and small scale surveys, she has gained expertise
in health survey research and programme evaluations She has coordinated several
research and evaluation studies independently, in different parts of the country.
She has contributed in various evaluations, police study and was one of the first
to do street children survey. Her area of interest is programme evaluation Gender,
and women empowerment, reproductive health, STDs and HIV/AIDS nutrition, and NGO
development. She has significant experience in conducting scientifically Qualitative
and Quantitative research.

Susmit Jain

Prof. Susmit Jain is Ph. D in Management from University of Rajasthan, NET qualified
in Mgmt., Master of Mgmt. Studies (MMS) from Malviya National Institute of Technology
(formerly MREC), Jaipur, AMIE (Computer Engineering Branch) & BE from Engineering
College Kota. He has around 10 years of teaching and 1 year of corporate experience.
He has obtained an honours degree both in Graduation and Post Graduation from University
of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He has been topper in MMS at MNIT, Jaipur and stood 10th in
University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He received Merit cum Means Scholarship in entire
B.E from Ministry of HRD (1992-1996). He has written two books, one in Research
methods in management and another in computer applications in management. He has
participated in many international & national conferences and has acted a resource
person in many prominent institutes of Jaipur. His areas of interest are Healthcare
Operations Management, Quantitative Methods for Health Service managers, Decision
Analysis for Healthcare Managers, Operations Research, Statistics for Pharmaceutical
Sciences and Statistical Development of Quality in Medicine.

Prof. Vijay Pratap Raghuvanshi specializes in Hospital Management. He is PhD (Under
Completion) and done M.Phil in Hospital and Health Management from Birla Institute
of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani & Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital
Management from IIHMR, Jaipur. He is a Certified Quality Management System Auditor/Lead
Auditor for ISO 9001 -2008 and Assessor for NABH (Healthcare Quality Standards).
He is having 9 years of wide experience in Hospital Industry. During his tenure
he has been associated with various renowned Hospital organizations in India on
Senior Management level. His areas of interest include Hospital Operations Management,
Hospital Planning, Healthcare Quality, Hospital Project Management.

Saumitra Joshi

Prof. Saumitra Joshi did his entire schooling from St. Xaviers Jaipur and B.Com for the University
of Rajasthan. After B.Com did his Masters in Sociology and B.Ed. He also did an
additional BA in Indian History and Hindi Literature because of a keen interest
in both the subjects. He has a vast teaching experience of 10 years plus In
reputed schools and colleges. Schools include Step by Step High and St. Xaviers,
Jaipur and colleges like IIPM, along with being a visiting faculty at The
Rajasthan Police Academy and T.I.M.E. Institute. Also into training management
and defense services aspirants for various competitive exams like CAT/MAT And
the NDA/CDS etc. His Core areas of interest and experience are literature and
communication. In an effort to promote awareness amongst the youngsters for
literature and art, he has also Developed a curriculum through which literature
and art are applied in modern day management. He Deals in stress management
also. He had also formed a society called ‘Abhivyakti’ for the young blood
interested in theater and presented a few plays some years back.
He has a deep interest in poetry and has regularly been writing in Hindi and
Persian by the pseudonym of ‘AZAD’. Has also conducted workshops on ‘Theater In
Management’. Into writing small plays and educating through theater and visual
and performing arts, he is equally passionate about horses and music too. |

Prof. Laxman Swaroop Sharma is sociologist with an experience of more than 18 years in
health sector. He has done masters in Economics, Sociology and M. Phil in
Sociology from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He has expertise in Health
Systems, District Action Planning, Health Survey Research and Program
Evaluations in the sector of maternal and child health. He has conducted many
scientific Qualitative and Quantitative research projects. He played a key role
in national and international large scale sample survey like Afghanistan
Mortality Survey (Afghanistan), National Family Health Survey (NFHS-INDIA),
District Level Household Survey (DLHS) under RCH program & Global Adult Tobacco
Survey (GATS) Punjab and Chandigarh. He has published research papers in reputed
journals. He has been teaching sociology in PGDRM program. His current areas of
interest are Health system, IEC-BCC, Project Management and capacity building of
NGOs. |

Prof. S.P.Chattopadhyay , MA (Economics) and MBA is a senior researcher and
more than 12 years working experience in socio-economic studies ,education
research and community health care programme. He is pursuing his Ph.D programme
on sustainability and development issues from Muzaffarpur University. He has
contributed to a large scale survey, research and programme implementation in
different parts of the country. Currently he is actively involved in a landmark
project “Strengthening of HMIS in Bihar” under the health system of Bihar. His
areas of interest are health economics, sustainability and human development. |

Rahul Sharma

Prof.
Rahul Sharma holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research, Masters Degree
in Pharmacology and is pursuing his Ph.D. from Jaipur National University. His
area of specialization is Pharmacology and Clinical Research. Also he is well
versed in subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacovigilance,
Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmaceutical Technology. He has rich experience of
working in drug manufacturing industry and academics. In his academic career he
took courses and guided dissertations of M.Pharm, B.Pharm, M.B.B.S and B.D.S
students. Rahul is an active member of associations like Indian Pharmacy
Graduate Association and Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India. His
research interests include drug comparative analysis and adverse events in post
marketing surveillance. |

Prof. Manasee Mishra Panda is Head (Research and Training) in IIHMR, Kolkata. She
has an M.A and Ph.D in Sociology. Various laurels in her distinguished academic
career include the National Talent Search (NTS) Scholarship by NCERT, New Delhi;
University Merit Scholarship and University Medal for securing first position in
M.A (Sociology) from the University of Hyderabad (Central University), Hyderabad;
UGC Research Fellowship and qualification in the National Eligibility Test (NET)
for lectureship. She has wide ranging public health experience and her key areas of work include monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of public health programmes;
research on women's health, child health and young people's issues; health systems
research; equity analysis and ethics. Her work has been presented in various national
and international forums in India and abroad.

in Health Mgt.) and is a graduate in Business Administration in Marketing Mgt. Before
joining IHMR Kolkata, she has worked with IHMR, Bangalore as Assistant Professor
,Tata Institute of Social Sciences and My Healthskapes Pvt.Ltd, Mumbai. She is instrumental
in teaching, training and research and administrative handholding.

Jatinder Bir Singh

Prof. Jatinder Bir Singh is an Economist. He has obtained his Ph.D. in Economics
from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. In a decade long career, other than
India, he has worked in Republic of Yemen, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and
Afghanistan. He has gained experience in the field of public health research,
monitoring & evaluation and project management. His areas of interest are
population programme management, programme evaluation, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis,
reproductive health. At present, he is Project Manager in Integrated Program
Strategy, Rajasthan - Food Fortification Project. Dr. Singh has publications in
international and national journals. |
