Selection Procedure
The eligible candidates will be invited for Group Discussion and Interview.
The final selection of the candidate is based on his/her performance in the qualifying
examination with proportional score in MAT/CMAT/RMAT/CAT/GPAT/IRMA (as applicable
for each program) , work experience, group discussion and interview. The distribution
of marks for selection will be as follows:

Duly completed application forms may be sent by post along with the application
fee and all the documents in support of eligibility. An application will be
considered only when it is received with all documentary evidences and the application
fee. The application fee is non-refundable.
Candidates are required to bring original documents at the time of the interview.
Admission Schedule
- Last date for request for application forms: May 30, 2012.
- Last date for submission of application forms: June 04, 2012.
- Dates for Test, Group Discussion (GD) and Interviews: April 11-13 and June 11-13,
2012.
- List of selected candidates will be announced on April 13, 2012 and June 13, 2012.
- Last date for closing of admission: July 02, 2012.
- Starting of the academic session: July 09, 2012.
- Candidates are to hand in their acceptance within 10 days from the date on which
results are announced and have to deposit 50% of the first installment. The remaining
fee of the first installment to be deposited within 20 days from the date of the
declaration of the result.
- The list of waitlisted candidates will be uploaded on the website and the applicants
will be informed accordingly by 2 July 2012.

Scholarship
The Institute may offer scholarships in each year on merit cum need basis.

Fee Refund
In the event of a student/candidate withdrawing before the starting of the academic session,
the Institute will deduct Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand) and shall return the remaining fee deposited by the candidate.
If the student/candidate leaves the course after joining, the Institute will return
the fee collected with proportionate deduction of tuition/hostel fee as per norms.

Evaluation Process
Evaluation of performance is a continuous process. To be recommended for
the award of the diploma, candidates are required to achieve a prescribed standard
in the total course work, including both internal assessment and final written examination. |

Award of Diploma
The following are the requirements for passing the examination and award of the
diploma:
Attendance:
Every student is expected to attend all the classes (not less than 75% in any case).
No unauthorized absence is permitted.
Examination:
A student’s performance will be judged in the Mid-term and End-term examinations.
Every course carries a maximum of 100 marks. The Mid-term exam includes assignments,
class participation and written exams, whereas the End-term includes written exams.
To clear a course every student has to score a minimum of 50% marks. For further details please consult
academic guidelines.
Summer Training:
Summer training is an integral part of the course. The students are also
assessed on the basis of their performance during this period.
Research (Dissertation and Internship):
Every student is required to write a dissertation in his/her area of interest.

Alumni
On completion of the program, students become part of a network of alumni.
An alumni newsletter, published twice a year, provides information on current program
activities. An alumni reunion event is held at the Institute once in two years.
Placement
The Institute has a Placement Cell headed by the Senior Manager, Academic Program
and Publications, with the Dean, Academics and Student Affairs, as the faculty advisor.
The Placement Cell acts in collaboration with the Placement Officer and the Placement
Committee, which also has student representatives from all the streams.
The activities of the Placement Cell primarily revolve around achieving successful:
- Placements for summer training in the first year
- Placements for internship in the second year
- Campus placements for the outgoing students
Of late, the hospital and healthcare, pharmaceutical and rural sectors have emerged as new avenues for the
employment of management professionals. Large corporate and public sector hospitals,
international, bilateral and national health care organizations, and health insurance companies, pharmaceutical and rural sector
organizations are looking for qualified manpower. The course prepares graduates
for exciting careers in such organizations. A large number of graduates have secured
excellent placements through campus recruitment.
The Institute has successfully placed almost all of its students in different organizations/industries.

Policy towards Ragging
|
|
The Institute strictly follows the AICTE guidelines for anti-ragging mentioned in
AICTE Handbook. The Institute observes “Zero tolerance” policy to ragging and expels students found
guilty of maltreating freshers. Any student accused of ragging would be given a chance
to explain his conduct and, if found guilty, will be straightaway expelled from the institute.
Every student and parent/Guardian should compulsorily submit a signed affidavit. |
