In order to enable them to reach out to other researchers, academics and policy-makers with a stake in the management of health care, the Institute brings out a publications regularly.

Journal of Health Management

Journal of Health Management (JHM) is a quarterly, peer-reviewed journal, published by th SAGE Publications. The Journal has completed its 12 year of regular publication. The Journal has now been well established and become popular.

The Journal is a forum for exploring major issues of health policy and health management including population and family welfare in developing countries. It caters to the needs of health policy makers, health managers, reflective practitioners and action-oriented researchers.

A referred publication, the Journal features articles based on first-hand experiences and empirical research; cases relating to management and policy issues analyzed from different points of view. It reviews articles on specific aspects of health management; book review; abstracts of current literature from journals, books and other sources; bibliographic essays on significant papers and books published outside India; and a listing of resources, including training manuals, technical guidelines, IEC material, instruments and source books.

The new issue of the Journal of Health Management, Volume 13 Number 2, has come up with a new cover design. The new editorial team consists of eminent experts.

Millennium Development Goals in Rajasthan: A Review

The Institute has reviewed the progress of the Millennium Development Goals in Rajasthan and has published it in the form of a book. The report captures India's achievements, challenges and policies with reference to the goals and targets while revealing substantial improvements in the lives of the people over the years. The report also reviews the progress of the Millennium Development Goals and Indicators and Targets in Rajasthan.

Abstract of Dissertations

The Postgraduate Programme in Hospital and Health Management is one of the best management education programs in the country. The program has turned into the sixteenth year now. During these years, the students have done tremendous research work in their areas of expertise as part their dissertation. The Institute has decided to publish the abstracts of the work done by the students of PGDHM in the form of a book every year. The studies have a focus on Hospital management, NABH Accreditation Population Management, Pharmaceutical management, Public health Practices, Quality of care, Maternal Mortality, Child Health Care among others.
